This is my motto. I paint in bold strong colors, but the difference I make is harmony, never anything brash, but the colors should complement each other. Vibrancy, pure colors, dark against light, light against dark, brings out the perfect pattern, even in Nature. I do paint mostly in oils, sometimes acrylic, although oils takes longer to dry, the colors are lasting as long as you blend them right with enough oil.  The very nature of myself is action, therefore my brush strokes are bold and fluid, although in more somber moods, I do paint miniatures in still life.
