Oh, ho, here we go. Studio looks Fresh and Brand New, with brushes, paints and cans etc, back in the New Cupboard.
But, Help ! As we all know the grass had been removed in the back garden and was to be replace by the gravel and stepping stones by this builder.
Why did he have to go and crack 4 ribs in his chest?
Like we have not slipped and slid for days, yesterday, all hell broke loose, with a Thunderstorm that sounded like it was going to split our house in two. Continued Lightning with Continued Thunder, more than 100 km winds that lasted for more than an hour in the dark of evening. The roar was terrific, like planes bombing this place right on top of us. However, we are safe, lights tried to go out, but stayed on, unlike thousands of other around us. Up the Mountain the roofs flew off in the Main street, and businesses have to consider costs to rebuild. Luckily no one was hurt.
All in all, thank God for keeping us safe, no damage, not a drop of water in the studio, that has been leaking for years, but the back yard, stay away if we can until next week.
Grass has been removed from the back garden. A New Cupboard for the Art Studio is coming tomorrow morning. Total assembly and organizing of a Brand New Art Studio replacing the old, (Total Upheaval), this is going to be Music in our Art Studio, all day. Art is a wonderful gift, by the Greatest Artist of all. Have you seen His Sunsets? The Rich Colors. The blend of Gold and Red, Royal !
The way He paints the Wild Storms over the Oceans? There is Action, there is Awe, but through it all, He can reach down and Heal the broken marriages, set the captives Free, and Love us all, if we are aware of it or not. He is exalted on High.

Finally the Verandah Deck was finished, bigger than the one before, that was removed because of the Upheaval in the Art Studio. It looks great in a Rosewood timber and finished of with a clear Deck Oil.
Next to continue the process the machines are coming in 7:00 Am tomorrow to remove All the grass in the back garden, which is going to be replaced with Gravel and Stepping Stones. It will be less maintenance work, since I am busy painting, saves the cost as well.
WHY DO I PAINT?
After 20 years as a Builder and Interior Decorator, 16 years ago I decided to return to my roots.
Painting is in my blood. What I mean is this, I come from a long generation of well Known Artists, this is in my Family Tree, manly in Scandinavia, America etc,
Under my maiden name which is SEGERSTRÅLE, late Lennart Segerstråle, one of many like his mother Anna, from Borgå Finland, is well known for his Altar Paintings and Frescos in churches throughout Finland, also Government Buildings. This picture is his Fresco In the Bank of Finland. This painting The Finlandia frescos painted by Lennart Segerstråle on the staircase walls of the Bank of Finland’s main building were unveiled on 4 May 1943.
With other words I am compelled to paint, I just love painting and it is my life. I have been born with a gift of many colors. Especially interested in Nature, sharing the Beauty and Tranquility, but also the raw power of the Sea in action.
My Main Purpose is sharing the incredible Beauty of Nature with less fortunate people, born in cities and the like. Have we ever wondered why people on their holidays head for the Nature to relax?
A beautiful painting on that empty wall, is all it takes after a hard day at work, to sit and unwind and enjoy the Nature in its fullness.
Am I out to be successful, Yes,
Money sure is important to exist, but buy selling my paintings I want to reach out to the community, and help where ever I can, and there you will be part of my Program.
The most satisfying way to add hope and harmony to your life is to enjoy it to the fullest.
When you do this, you make the world a more agreeable place for yourself. You also make it more agreeable for others – enjoyment can be every bit as contagious as optimism.
A week of Restoration
Finally on the move in the studio, after two weeks, since the disaster. The Carpet arrived and was laid this morning. I am moving back in, still missing is the Cupboard and the Sofa. Feels good to take up painting again. Hooray……..
